Included in tuition, PCS flies our fourth graders up to Sacramento for their first overnight trip. Our students learn about the gold rush days and the early history of California. In addition to visiting historical sites, they get to pan for gold and learn about the indigenous people that live in the Sacramento area. A trip to the state capital building includes a lesson on government and the democratic process. This fun and educational trip is a favorite and makes fourth grade extra special at PCS! And yes, parent chaperones are welcome!
