Pasadena Christian School's extended care program is affectionately known as our Big Yellow House (BYH). When entering carline, you'll notice our friendly mural of BYH.
BYH is a special place for students to come to before and/or after school. At BYH, students enjoy supervised recreation, arts and crafts, cooking and baking, as well as homework time. The PCS Library is open to Upper Elementary and Junior High BYH students five days a week.
In addition to homework and fun activities with the BYH staff, students can sign up for a variety of enrichment classes.
Depending on the time of year, enrichment classes may include:
- PCS Cheer Clinic
- Dance Classes with Plaza Production One
- Art with Mrs. Hart
- Parker Anderson Enrichment Classes (Jewelry Making, Rocket Science, Kids Cooking Academy, Basketball Superstars, Lego Robotics, Anime, Cartooning & Comic Creation, and more!)
- Soccer Stars
- TGA: Tennis & Golf
All students enrolled in Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade at PCS are eligible for extended care at BYH during the school year.
Hours of Operation
Regular school days: 7 am until 8 am, and the end of school until 6 pm
Easter Care: 7am until 6pm
