The Curriculum:

Our curriculum features engaging activities involving various subjects, open-ended tasks, and skill development.  Learning at our preschool is in the context of play, guided by teachers who make it a goal to extend the child's discovery. We believe intellectual learning takes place when we provide a wide variety of materials, activities and exploration in a well-organized and well-thought-out environment. We support a "developmentally appropriate" curriculum that addresses activities for each age and stage of development. This flexibility is a description of the "emergent" opportunity that allows teachers to take advantage of "teachable moments." In this way, children learn in a meaningful and fun way.

“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” - Proverbs 22:6

Parental Involvement/Volunteer Hours:

We believe the most successful schools are those with the highest level of parental involvement. As a result, Pasadena Christian Preschool, in cooperation with our Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF), provides numerous opportunities and activities for parents to get involved. Each preschool family is required to volunteer a minimum of 10 hours per school year.

“We have different gifts according to the grace given us.” -Romans 12:6
