Application Process

Applications are available at the preschool office. Applications accompanied by the application fee are accepted at any time during the application period on a first-come, first-served basis. All application and registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Enrollment may be delayed by the number of spaces available, the time of the school year, the child’s age and developmental needs.

We will accept applications beginning October 1st for the following school year, which begins in September.

Part of our application process includes attending a Parent Information Meeting or tour. These meetings will be scheduled on Wednesdays and Thursdays each week for the following school year during the application period from October 1st through June 30th. Exceptions will be scheduled as needed.

All continuing families must also submit a Program Request form each year as a statement of intent to participate for the following school year by the first week of February to maintain their space. If an application of intent is not submitted by February, we will accept a new family as a replacement.

Preschool Enrollment Process

A letter will be sent to parents confirming acceptance, waitlist or non-acceptance status by the first week of March. Parents of children who are accepted to the following school year must submit a non-refundable registration fee and facilities fee accompanied by the Enrollment Agreement, due two weeks after acceptance. Any accepted families who return the registration fee and form after this time will be placed at the end of the waiting list. The fee and form will be returned until a space becomes available.

All application and registration fees are paid by money order, check or credit card to the school office on or before the date posted in the application policy to be considered “on time”.  No cash payment accepted.

All continuing families have until May 1st to submit the Registration Fee, Facilities Fee and Enrollment Agreement form. (i.e. continuing student’s registration fees and forms are due by May 1st.)

Before children enter the program an initial interview is required with the director and the child’s parent(s) to gather information about the child that will be helpful for transition into the program.  (No children present during interview, please).  Together we can determine how our preschool will be able to meet the needs of the child and the goals of the parent.

Any information given is expected to be true to the best knowledge of the parent(s). All information remains confidential between parent(s) and specific staff members. This time is also a good opportunity for parents to ask specific questions related to school operation or classroom procedure. Parents of continuing students do not need to interview again after the initial interview.
