HOW THE MVP PROGRAM WORKS - The goal of the MVP program is to cultivate a spirit of community, cooperation, and support to provide for needs of the classrooms and school at large.  Servicing is a tangible proof of commitment to the school, its mission and the part it plays in your child’s life.  We want every child, every parent and every family to know that they are an important part of the school and to feel connected to other families!! 

Each K-8 Family is required to complete 20 service hours during the school year.  Single parent families require 10 hours.   Preschool families are required to complete 10 hours per family.  The hours may be completed by either spouse, or grandparents.  The hours are per family, not per child enrolled at the school. 

A “coupon book” will be provided for you to keep track of hours served.  Your post-dated check will be returned to you when your coupon book is turned in with all your service hours recorded. 

There are numerous opportunities to fulfill your MVP service hours. A list of opportunities will be available along with a Sign-up form.

Once you complete your required service hours you may turn in your completed coupon books by dropping it off at the front office or mailing it to the school.  Your check will then be returned to you within 30 days.  In the event your family chooses not to complete your service hours, the check will be deposited into the general fund of the PTF.  There is not credit given for partial completion of hours!
