You came, you ran, you jogged and you raised a lot of money for your school! Thank you to everyone who participated in the 33rd PCS Jog-A-Thon. In spite of the last minute changes due to the weather we had over 200 students participate and we had just over $35,000 pledged.
We are particularly grateful to all the volunteer help we received and especially everyone who ‘dropped everything’ to help on the rescheduled dates. Whether it was folding, sticking, stuffing, pouring, scooping, chaperoning or spraying you made the event a success. Thank you to all the staff and faculty for their hard work and flexibility before, on and after the event.
Over 100 students from K-8 earned a prize trip to Knott’s Berry Farm by raising at least $160. Thanks for your hard work!
Congratulations to the GRAND PRIZE WINNER for the most money raised - Hannah Rae Finchamp (8B). She was awarded a weekend at Disneyland!!
Also, a big Cougar thanks goes out to the following students for their exceptional job in raising money for PCS: Congratulations and the prize for First Place go to Brianna Mireku (4A) who wins $150. Second Place goes to Elise Navarro (5A) who is awarded $100 cash, and Chase Lazarian (3A) wins Third Place and $75 cash.
Thirteen Preschoolers also participated in this year’s Jog-A-Thon! Hurrah for our Preschoolers!
An all-school Jog Awards Assembly was held to celebrate the success of the event. Engraved medals were awarded to the boy and girl at each grade level who ran the most laps.
Congratulations to the students listed on the opposite side for their AMAZING effort! |
