Pasadena Christian School has an available job opening for a Physical Education Teacher. 

This person will be responsible for the girls’ physical education program for grades 1-8 as well as be the girls’ coach in the competitive after school sports program (middle school).  Team sports may include volleyball, basketball and softball as well as any other league sports.

The qualified candidate will work closely with the school Athletic Director in all aspects of planning, preparation and implementation of a PE program that fosters students to develop strength, skill, agility, and coordination in individual, dual and team physical activities, with an emphasis on each student’s ability and personal best.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required as is the ability to multi-task and demonstrate flexibility. 

Bachelor degree required.  Degree in physical education or closely related field in health education or kinesiology preferred. 

Must agree and adhere to the school’s Code of Conduct as well as the school’s Statement of Faith.

Salary is commensurate to experience and skills.

Pasadena Christian School has an available job opening for a Development Director

The Development Director oversees the fundraising responsibilities for the school.  Duties include, but is not exclusive to, student fundraisers, annual fund campaign, gala/auction, and quarterly newsletter.  This position may also be involved with donor cultivation, identifying grants, and community involvement.

The qualified candidate will work closely with the Head of School, Principal, Admissions/Marketing Director, and Parent Fellowship Director in planning and implementing fundraising goals.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.  Creative problem-solving and strong follow through is a must.  Experience in grant writing and donor cultivation is a plus, as is a proven track record of completed projects.  The ability to create community and consensus with others is necessary as there will be regular committee work with parent volunteers to produce annual events.  

Must agree and adhere to the school’s Code of Conduct as well as the school’s Statement of Faith.

Bachelor’s degree required.  Degree in business administration, marketing or communication preferred.

Minimum of 2-5 years in fundraising/development/related fields required.
